"Dr. Felicia"

Felicia L. Goins, D.D.S.

Dr. Felicia L. Goins is a graduate of George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. Dr. Goins completed her advanced training in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital National Medical Center and received her Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. In Washington, D.C., she received the Award for Chief Resident, Pediatric Dental Residency at the Children's Hospital National Medical Center. Dr. Goins is Board Eligible and has Hospital Appointments at Tuomey Regional Medical Center (Sumter, South Carolina) and Children's Hospital National Medical Center (Washington, DC).

Dr. Goins is dedicated to the community and is Co-Founder of the Links Inc. Dental Sealants Program at W.A. Perry Middle School. In 1992, she founded the Health Reach Program at Tuomey Hospital and she serves on the board of many other community organizations. Dr. Goins is active in many professional organizations including: The American Association of University Women, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, Pee Dee District Dental Society, and Central District Dental Society and the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Goins is also a Board Member of the Heathwood Hall Episcopal School.

"Dr. Beth"

Lisbeth W. Poag, D.M.D.

Dr. Lisbeth W. Poag is a native of Camden, South Carolina. She received her Baccalaureate Degree from Furman University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, South Carolina. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Poag received her Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from Northwestern University and Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Poag returned to South Carolina to practice and has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for many years. She enjoys working with the 3 to 5 year-old "Head Start" children, as well as the Migrant "Head Start" children. Dr. Poag also visits schools to educate teachers and students about dental care during National Children's Dental Health Month.

As an active member of her community and church, Dr. Poag is also a member of the Camden Community Concert Band. Dr. Poag serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of its Executive Committee. Her other professional affiliations and memberships include: American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, Pee Dee Dental Society and MUSC Alumni Association. She is also a member of the Optimist International Organization, which services youth, and is a Board Eligible Member of the surgical staff at Tuomey Medical Center in Sumter, South Carolina.

"Dr. Chana"

Aunchana Tocharoen, D.M.D.

A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Dr. Tocharoen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The University of South Carolina where she also attended graduate studies in the School of Public Health-Epidemology. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. She also completed advanced education in a General Dentistry Residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. She has been the recipient of many professional awards for her work in the field of dentistry including the J. Frank Collins Award for Excellence in Dentistry, and the Outstanding Achievement Award by the International College of Dentistry. She has Dental Licensure for South Carolina and Florida.

Dr. Tocharoen is very active with her community and a member of many professional and charitable organizations. Dr. Tocharoen's professional organizations include: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Central District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, Thai Physician American Association and MUSC Alumni Association.

Dr. Tocharoen has hospital privileges at Tuomey Regional Medical Center, Sumter, S.C., Palmetto Health Richland Hospital and Palmetto Surgical Center, Columbia, S.C. Dr. Tocharoen's charitable involvements include membership on the Festival of Trees steering committee and membership with the Junior Women's Club of Columbia.

"Dr. Shari"

Sharlene G. Martin, D.M.D.

Dr. Sharlene Martin (Dr. Shari) is a native of Beaufort, South Carolina, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Charleston.  She completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in Charleston, South Carolina. Participating in numerous research projects, she was presented the prestigious Oral Biology Award for Distinguished Research. As an active member of her community, Dr. Martin volunteers her time    performing dental screenings for the Head Start program, and in community outreach programs, such as Health Reach, that are focused on dental education for both parents and children.  She is also an active member of the Kiwanis Club.

Dr. Martin's professional organizations include: The American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association, Pee Dee Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as an affiliate member, International Association of Dental Research, Medical University of South Carolina Alumni Association and the College of Charleston Alumni Association.

"Dr. Lisa"

Lisa M. Cherry, D.D.S 

Dr. Cherry is a graduate of the University of Eau Claire-Wisconsin with a BS in Biology.  She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, and completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Lisa received her training in pediatric dentistry at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts.

Following dental training, she practiced dentistry in Champaign, Illinois, both in private practice, and with the Champagne Urbana Public Health Dental Clinic, serving as both a dentist and as the Director of Dentistry.  After becoming active with statewide oral health programs, she followed her passion for healthy smiles into a residency in pediatric dentistry. She is a board certified pediatric dentist, and is actively involved in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, and the South Carolina Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Lisa lives in Columbia, South Carolina with her husband, Brian Cherry, who is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. She is enjoying the warm hospitality of South Carolina, and is excited about the future.
