Mark

Mark Mullen is the Practice Administrator for Carolina Children’s Dentistry. A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University and later a Master of Health Services Administration Degree from the University of Michigan. After serving more than 20 years as a health care administrator in the US Air Force, Mark retired from the armed forces and moved to the Midlands to join the Carolina Children’s Dentistry team. He is married and has three wonderful daughters.

Danielle

Danielle is our Business Officer Manager. She is a native of Birmingham, AL, and received her Bachelors Degree from Auburn University.  She enjoys spending time with her family (especially her two children) and friends. Upon your arrival, she will be happy to answer any billing or insurance questions you might have!

Tonya

Tonya is one of our dental hygienists and the Hygiene Dept supervisor, and has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for over six years. She helps educate you and your child on proper dental hygiene as well as making your child's dental experience as pleasant and rewarding as possible. She looks forward to meeting you and your child!

Stephanie

Stephanie is our Operative Supervisor and OR Coordinator. She has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for over seven years and really enjoys working with all the children every day. She says she "feels like I am a big kid most of the time" and really looks forward to seeing all the children each day!

Jenny

Jenny has been a hygienist with Carolina Children’s Dentistry for over nine years. She relates that she enjoys working here because she likes to have fun and enjoys interacting with the children. She doesn't just do cleanings--she also educates the children on proper dental care on a level they can understand. The most important and challenging part of her day is establishing a relationship and developing trust with each child. Jenny's goal is to eliminate the fear of dentistry and provide a pleasant and fun experience for each of her patients.

Nikki B.

Nikki B. has been a dental assistant for over four years. She assists our dentists in the Hygiene Dept and with operating room cases at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. She loves working with children and can't wait to meet your child!

Erin

Erin is a certified dental assistant and graduated from Midlands Technical College in 2004. She has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for over five years. She assists our dentists during operative procedures both in the office and at Tuomey Hospital. She has been married for six years and has a wonderful husband and a beautiful little boy, Rhett, who was born in 2008. She is a family-oriented person and loves nothing more than spending time with them!

Nikki C.

Nikki C. has been a dental assistant at Carolina Children's Dentistry for over two years. Currently, she takes all of the X-rays on our patients, whose ages range from infancy to the late teens. She also assists our dentists in the operating room at Tuomey Hospital. She loves children and enjoys making their experience a great one!

Karen

Karen is part of our Hygiene team. She joined Carolina Children's Dentistry in 2007 in the business office, but recently transferred to hands-on patient care with the children. She loves working with children and their parents. When not at work, Karen enjoys spending time with her twin children and going shopping.

Leah

Leah joined our team very recently and is our Treatment Coordinator, which gives her the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with both your child and you. She helps educate you on the recommended treatment, as well as assisting in all your financial and scheduling needs.  Leah is a native of Nashville, TN, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University a few years ago. She enjoys spending time with her active duty Air Force husband, Alex, and (when he's away) shopping! 

Linda

Linda is an Air Force wife and the proud mother of a 3-year old little boy. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Linda works in our business office and is excited to meet your little ones!

Tara

Tara has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for over a year. She exclaims that she "loves working here because the atmosphere is fun and caring and the team is like family!" She is an Air Force spouse and mother of two children and has two dogs. She enjoys traveling to places with history and culture, spending quality time with friends and family, and long lazy weekends.

Amanda

Amanda is one of our newest staff members and is a Sumter native. She works in our Business Office at Reception and you will see her smiling face when you arrive! Amanda graduated from the College of Charleston and loves spending time with her family and friends. She loves children, so she looks forward to meeting yours at their next appointment!

Kellie

Kellie has been with Carolina Children's Dentistry for over three years.  She works in several different roles, depending upon the need that day. She has a little boy, Bryson, who keeps her on her toes.  She is currently pursuing her CRNA degree through Francis Marion University.  Some of her hobbies include singing, poetry, as well as being the pianist for her church.  She loves life, and most of all, she loves the people in it!

Jomarie

This is Jomarie.  Everyone calls her "Ms. Jo." After retiring as Sumter County Auditor a few years ago, she joined the Business Office team at Carolina Children's Dentistry. Her southern charm and joking manner make her a favorite with the staff and children! She enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. Ms. Jo looks forward to seeing you and your children during your visit to Carolina Children's Dentistry!

Mary Beth

Mary Beth is a certified dental assistant and has worked at Carolina Children's Dentistry for three years. She assists our dentists in the Operative Dept and with operating room cases at Tuomey Hospital in Sumter. She likes to spend time with her family when she is not working. Her favorite treats are  watermelon smoothies from Rita's Italian Ice!
